Ipanel X1210v3 Waranty
Congratulations on purchasing the iPanel X1210v3 industrial computer. This
document is provided to you to outline the terms and conditions of the
warranty provided on the iPanel X1210v3 by Delta Automation. Should anything
in this document be unclear, or you require further advice, please contact

72 Hour Express Warranty Cover:
The iPanel X1210v3 is covered by a 72 hour turn around warranty policy. This is
a ‘best effort’ policy, and is in no way a guarantee of turn around time.
To activate this policy, or make a claim, you must first contact Delta
Automation on +61 (0)2 4932 4700. A technician will perform some basic
‘over the phone’ diagnosis. If the problem can not be solved via this method,
then the faulty goods will need to be returned to :

Freight charges to Delta Automation will be at the purchasers expense.
Before an exchange iPanel X1210v3 will be dispatched, the purchaser will be
required to provide Delta Automation with a consignment number of the
courier used to return the faulty unit. Upon receiving this number, Delta
Automation will perform a ‘clone’ on a working iPanel X1210v3 to install your
software configuration and dispatch the replacement unit to an address
supplied by you using the fastest available courier. Freight costs for the
replacement unit will be at Delta Automation’s expense. If the returned unit is
deemed non warrantable, you will be given the option to return the
replacement iPanel X1210v3 within 7 working days of your receipt of the unit. If
the purchaser fails to return the replacement unit, they will be billed for the
cost of repairs to the faulty unit or the cost of the replacement unit, whichever
is the least. Should the purchaser wish to proceed with any unwarranted
repairs, they can maintain use of the replacement iPanel X1210v3 and will be
billed the cost of repairs and freight.
Delta Automation DO NOT carry spare Data Link or other third party
modules in stock. Should a third party card (for example a Modbus or DH+
card) be required in the replacement unit, you will be given instruction on how
to safely remove the installed card in the faulty iPanel X1210v3 prior to returning
it to Delta Automation. The repair unit will then be shipped without the card,
but with instructions on how to install it again, if they are available to Delta
Automation. Should the third party card be faulty, alternate arrangements will
be made to expedite the repair, but it may not be completed within 72 hours.
If you have made software configuration modifications or installation after
the delivery of your iPanel X1210v3, the onus will be on you to provide a clone
or ‘ghost’ image of the configuration. Delta Automation will maintain a clone
image of the original working configuration of your iPanel X1210v3 for a period
of 12 months. It is strongly suggested that the purchaser make a clone of the
disk image after any additional, non-factory fitted software is installed. If
required, Delta Automation can set up ftp access for you to upload the most
up to date image to our server. There are a number of commercial available
packages to perform disk cloning. Delta Automation do not sell these, but are
more than happy to advise you on a suitable application.
Warranty Terms and Conditions:
1. Delta Automation will provide warranty on this product for a period of
12 months from the date of delivery.
2. This warranty does not cover incompatibilities due to hardware or
software added by the purchaser. It does not cover any configuration
performed external to Delta Automation.
3. This warranty does not extend to covering any operating system or third
party software installed on this product, including installation performed by
Delta Automation.
4. This warrant does cover configuration of installed software if the
installation of the software was made by Delta Automation at the time of
original purchase/delivery.
5. This warranty does not cover alterations made to configurations
performed under clause 4 if a) they are performed external to Delta
Automation or b) they are against the recommendations of Delta
Automation technical staff.
6. We reserve the right not to repair or replace goods that:
•Have been mishandled or not installed correctly
•Have been subjected to extreme variations in operating
conditions, such as (but not limited to) submersion or physical
damage
•Have been subject to a power surge from other equipment, a
lighting strike or other external factors
•Have been altered or modified without written approval from
Delta Automation.
7. Delta Automation provide 24 hour phone support for repairs and fault
finding of any supplied iPanel X1210v3. Please call +61 2 4932 4700 to activate
this support when required.
