Alarm and Set-Point Notification Monitoring and Reporting

The Alarm and Set-Point Notification Monitoring and Reporting Application was born out of a need to notify key stake holders that specific set-points and system parameters (such as an IPC) which could have a significant effect on the operation of a mine had been altered.

Key Features: 
  • Assign set points to groups - Conveyors, Vent Fans, Gas Monitoring, Longwall
  • Assign who gets notified in each group and how i.e. can select who gets notified by email and who get notified by SMS
  • Assign a notification level for each alarm or set-point, the higher the rating the more urgently it will be delivered to those who require it
  • Each message contains the new information plus a summary of the changes over time if requested
  • Keep a chronological history of when things were changed.
  • Notify and report to groups or individuals via email and SMS.
  • Time out functionality – the reporting of an alarm may be turned off for periods of time, for instance during maintenance periods.
  • A 'HOLIDAY' function to be implemented on a user basis – the user will not receive messages while they are on leave. Optionally specify who will receive the message while they are away.
  • Shut Down Period – for instance over Christmas only some alarms will be notified. Only notifications with specific ratings will be sent
How It Works: 

Each Set-Point or Alarm is automatically added to the system once it has been altered for the first time, resulting in very little administration from the users perspective. A rating and one or more groups is then assigned to that Notification Type. Once the system picks up that the value has changed and depending on the rating a message is delivered to all the key stake holders defined in the system in their preferred format.

Ideal to monitor and report on a vast array of values, this system is quick, easy and effective in making your sites operations run smoothly, avoiding unnecessary timely and costly delays.

Integration: 

Citect Integration

Integrated into Citect read and write values captured directly into Citect. Monitor or control your Citect installation and the devices attached to it.

Northern Lights Communications Integration

Integrated into the Northern Lights Camp Lamp System, we can relay relevant information captured to one or more specified cap lamps within your mine site, automatically or manually.

LED sign

Using the DeltaView LED Outdoor Display quickly and easily display information recorded by Deltamation's software on specific LED signs placed around your site. Possible applications of this technology may be to display critical gas information on a LED sign at the entrance to the pit or to display specific information relating to a piece of faulted machinery at a specific location underground to alert technicians.

Email / PDF

Set-up automatic email notifications of critical reports that you require, and prepare PDF files for paper based reporting.

SMS

Each user of the system has the ability to receive their notifications via a SMS message.
